Platers / Fabricators / Welders
My client requires experienced Fabricator Welders or Plater Welders to work on on-going projects that will be MIG welding mild steels, working from drawings, building jigs; MIG welding vehicle interiors, panels, chassis, crushers for refuge lorries or other large coach type vehicles.

To be considered you must be competent MIG welding 4mm+ mild steels unassisted and be able to work from engineering drawings. The projects will be working on box sections and other panels ranging in thickness of 4mm and upto (absolute thickest 50mm, for Platers)

The successful Fabricator Welder MUST be competent working from drawings and able to build/work with jigs from scratch.

Experienced and/ time served Platers/ Fabricators with jig work and MIG welding mild steels experience need only apply.

A weld test must be completed (T fillet, MIG on mild steel)

Chance of a permanent position offered with our company from day one if you are employed at present.

Immediate start available and will lead to permanent after successful completion of initial 12 week, weekly paid period.

Welder rate - £9.89ph
Fabricator Welder rate - £10.20ph
Plater rate - £11.22ph
Senior Plater rate - £12.50ph

Hours: 7am - 4pm Mon-Thurs, 7am - 11am Fri/ alternatively there is a TWILIGHT SHIFT 4pm-2am Monday-Thursday with a 17% shift allowance.
Status: Permanent role after completion of 12 weeks' contract of service, weekly paid.
