This can include clinical negligence claims, complaints, medical and dental council inquiries, legal and ethical dilemmas, disciplinary procedures, inquests and fatal accident inquiries.

An opportunity has arisen for a Management Accounting Manager to join our Finance Department on a permanent contract based in our Leeds office.

As a Management Accounting Manager you will lead and develop a team focussed on providing a quality management accounting service to MPS, including MI reporting and budgeting.

This role will also work closely with other senior managers in the department to assist in the production of the annual group and subsidiary financial accounts, and provide relevant, timely and meaningful management reporting to the organisation across a variety of platforms and segments.

In addition this role will review, query and authorise bank and balance sheet account reconciliations prepared by the Accounting Assistants and produce the consolidated group budget and projections in collaboration with Finance Business Partners.

In order to be considered for this position you must be a qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA) and ideally you will possess previous line management experience or can demonstrate coaching and mentoring of team members previously.

You must be experienced in the production of management reporting including commentary and analysis, and possess advanced Excel skills, coupled with a good overall knowledge of IT Systems
