A Customer Service Engineer is required for a busy company, to be based out of their Aberdeen office. The company provide gas turbines and associated refurb, service and repair to company's within the Oil & Gas sector. The role is to provide customers with a single point of contact, and will include regular customer liaison meetings to follow up on opportunities and convert into orders. The role includes full customer and contract management, including arrangement of and responsibility for pre-planning resources to meet customers service requirements. You will secure and co-ordinate the internal resources to ensure that customers needs are met for service, spares, technical support and workshop overhauls. You will be responsible for ensuring that field service teams have all necessary resources including work packs, travel documents and other relevant documents.

The successful candidate will have gained experience within a similar role being the interface to customers. You will have experience gained within a mechanical engineering environment and be able to demonstrate knowledge of gas turbine technology and and components. Your technical knowledge will be coupled with high levels of commercial and financial acumen. Customer relationship building skills are essential as is the ability to liaise with internal engineering teams. You will have a strong appreciation of site repair, maintenance and installation problems
