BRC are recruiting for a part-time temporary Project Management Officer on behalf of a well-established Housing Association in South Wales.

Our client is looking for a temporary Project Management Officer to support the development of the programme business cases across the association. As the PMO you will ensure all information is robust and compliant, working with review teams to develop and present the case for change through the rigorous development of the ‘as is` current business model.

You will be working closely with Senior Managers within the Housing Management Unit and Asset Management Teams as well as the corporate functions (ICT / HR / Finance / Procurement / L&D) that support front-line delivery.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Supporting review teams to carry out the detailed analysis of services by summarising and presenting findings
- Process mapping services under review and mapping dependencies between services
- Supporting the Programme Manager to draft outline plans for short term / medium term and long term improvements
- Working with the relevant services / team members to assist in the implementation of short term improvements by ensuring the development of clear plans with key milestones and the compilation of project highlight reports
- Maintaining the RAID Log and raising any additional concerns to the SPM

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

- Considerable experience of working in a PMO environment
- Knowledge of terminology and key document requirements
- Confident with MS Office suite, including Visio and MS Project Software
- Commercially minded to ensure all plans stay on track
- Working under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Able to handle multiple priorities and adapt when demands change
