Brook Street (UK) Limited is currently recruiting an Account Manager on behalf of our client located in Belfast city centre.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a great company situated right in the city centre. This is not a cal centre role, its an office based, sales orientated account manager position.

Overall job purpose:

* Provide each client with excellent customer service, resolve all issues, ensure coordinated escalation where required.
* Work closely with clients and colleagues to actively manage the presentation of client files with the aim of balancing workload where possible.
* Ensure all clients are retained year to year through the dedicated management of their individual accounts.

The role is telephone based and requires applicants to communicate with existing clients and negotiate sales and renewal of contracts. The ideal candidate for this role should have previous sales / account management experience and have strong communication skills and the ability to work well unsupervised.

The duties for the role are as follows:

* Retain maximum number of client accounts.
* Convert maximum number of accounts from "fixed-term" contracts onto "rolling" contract terms.
* Ensure existing contracts are renewed well in advance of formal renewal date.
* Act as the focal point for the development of a "Master Report" for all renewals (to include: formal due dates, in-process, closed won and closed lost).
* Prepare client briefing packs for General Manager as required e.g. (1) significant issues, (2) prior to client meetings, (3) business-growth potential.
* Ensure all client needs are met whilst maintaining the company's commercial position.
* Ensure touch points with clients are maintained throughout the year (quarterly).
* Engage in active dialogue with clients 45 days prior to document submission and achieve optimum work flow.
* Quick response, escalation and resolution on OS ticket where required.
* Gain and maintain an appropriate level of competence in the use of the Sugar CRM System.
* Ensure all relevant customer data ("Key Data-Sets") is maintained.
* Escalate technical issues quickly and effectively and maintain an accurate report on progress and resolution.
* Record and submit quarterly system enhancement/change requests.

Previous telephone sales is essential, Applicants must also be a strong communicator, good problem solver, relationship builder, empathetic to needs of team and clients alike, able to push back when required, and be able to adapt and accept an ever-changing environment in a growing business.

Salary will be circa £20-23K per annum and the hours of work are 9am to 5pm - Monday to Friday

It is preferred that candidates are of degree / graduate calibre but those without a degree education and the relevant sales experience will also be considered. Immediate start for right candidate.
