An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Sports Club Operations Manager to join a fantastic business based in London. The position offered is a temporary to permanent contract offering fantastic career prospects.

Our client is seeking an experienced applicant to oversee the delivery of the sports community hub and services at the sports club and additional service, ensuring that both centres are smoothly run and well-maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for leading a team; consistently meeting and exceeding targets and key performance indicators, including income generation; and delivering excellent customer service.
Managing the staff rota, supervising timesheets, overseeing weekly invoices, manage budgets and bookings and line manage 9 staff members across two sites.
Oversee an excellent reception and sales service, greeting customers and visitors both face to face and on the telephone, process membership sales, changes and cancellations, answering general enquiries, answering the telephone and directing calls and taking messages and keeping the reception area tidy.

Skills Required:
Educated to degree standard or same level through experience
Experience of managing a leisure/community facility – 12 months minimum
Experience of budget and financial management and forecasts
Experience of handling and interpreting a variety of information at management level from a range of internal and external stakeholders
Enhanced DBS
Recognised First Aid at Work qualification
