Our client who is an International organisation with offices through out the world, are looking to recruit an experience Payroll & Benefits Advisor on a part-time Payroll Advisor for the 3 days worked (9-5.30pm).

Our clients HR team for Northern Europe looks after a total of over 450 employees based within the UK, Ireland and Norway, providing dedicated HR support across our technical consulting areas and support services.
They are currently looking for an experienced Payroll and Benefits Advisor who can manage the end to end payroll and benefits process with little supervision. Their payroll is partly outsourced but they are looking for an individual to manage the in-house process, the key elements of which are:
Be the Subject Matter Expert on all payroll best practice, policies, process and operating procedures
Managing relationship with external payroll and benefit providers and benefit brokers, to include contract renewals and negotiations
Managing all UK and Ireland payroll processes including tax year end, P11Ds etc
Managing the UK and Ireland benefit schemes to include pension, healthcare, life assurance, group income protection, salary sacrifice schemes
Build and maintain strong relationships with Stakeholders and Finance

Experience and skills required:
Payroll - excellent understanding of the UK & Ireland tax system, including the ability to perform manual calculations
Pensions - in-depth experience of managing a defined contribution scheme, including all aspects of pension legislation, employee communications, pension salary sacrifice, auto enrolment and a good understanding of annual, life time and tapered allowances
Benefits - managing the renewal of benefit schemes such as private healthcare, life assurance, group income protection
Project management experience
Communication skills - ability to draft Companywide communications and liaise confidentially with Executive members about their pay, tax and benefit arrangements
Strong excel including Vlookups
Accuracy - a strong eye for detail
