An IT Infrastructure Manager is required to join the UK arm of an innovative European organisation providing customers with a positive experience and superb levels of customer service through its high quality facilities.

The successful candidate will join the small IT team based within the organisations head office in Leeds city centre; reporting directly to the Head of IT UK & Ireland.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

• A proven track record of taking the initiative and an ability to find and create solutions
• Experience of taking responsibility for projects
• Intelligence, initiative and an ability to learn quickly on the job are key to success in a company that has a variety of technology and infrastructure
• Knowledge and experience of Microsoft operating systems and TCP/IP networking
• Qualifications with Microsoft or Cisco would be an advantage
• An understanding of the relationship between business process and the corresponding IT solutions.
• An ability to work closely and harmoniously with colleagues, communicating effectively and confidently in a language that is relevant to that audience.
• Significant experience of having worked in an IT support role
• An understanding of PCI compliant equipment would be an advantage but training will be given where necessary in this area.
• Have the potential to take on further leadership roles in the future.
• A willingness to get your “hands dirty”.
• A willingness to travel to remote site where necessary and to go “the extra mile” if circumstances require it.

Working within the IT team you will primarily be responsible for the Head office IT Infrastructure and the extensive network covering almost 70 locations in the UK. You will also provide general IT support to the team and business if required. This role is also expected to assist in a greater integration of the Ireland business into our current and future infrastructure.

Areas of Accountability
• Provide infrastructure Leadership and support to the business ranging from our in-house Fileservers, Head office LAN, connectivity within our WAN, and on occasion, on-site equipment Thin Clients and PC’s.
• Involvement in projects that have an IT component from start to finish including initial discussions, technical solutions, troubleshooting, documentation and end user training
• Co-ordinate with other areas of the business ensuring the IT infrastructure is fully operational upon completion of new builds, and refurbished, facilities
• Implementation of Group solutions throughout the business as directed
• Working with the suppliers, ensure the on-site Parking Management equipment connects successfully to the network.
