An experienced Manufacturing Engineer is required with Siemens NX experience, to provide technical support to the manufacturing department and to aid the New Product Introduction process, assisting in the optimization of machining around the business, at our clients Wolverhampton facility. As the Manufacturing Engineer you will provide on going support for various operational projects, ensuring safety, quality and output targets are met.

Key Responsibilities of the Manufacturing Engineer:

* To maintain BOM's, Process routings, planning (layouts), correlate Failure data, PFMEA's Control Plans etc.
* Implement Engineering and Manufacturing change Requests (ECR/ MCR in area of responsibility) and update/ change relevant supporting documentation.
* Improve process performance through continuous improvement (lean) activities
* Provide engineering technical (troubleshooting) assistance to manufacturing and quality personnel.
* Coordinate specific projects within the manufacturing area (i.e. facilities/ equipment moves)
* Support process/ machine risk assessments
* Develop machining to the next level.

The Manufacturing Engineer will ideally have experience of as many of the following:

* CNC Machining
* CNC Programming
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
* Production tooling/ fixture manufacture and implementation
* Working in modern high complexity low volume manufacturing environment
* Working knowledge of Microsoft office and ERP software
* Good general Mechanical and or engineering technical knowledge.

From time to time the successful Manufacturing Engineer may be required by the Company to perform other tasks, which are not included in the above description, but are within the capabilities of the individual and where necessary training will be given.
