An opportunity for a BDM to come and join one of the worlds more progressive Civils infrastructure organisations. They are expanding this division of their International and UK operations to win larger projects throughout the EMEA.

Based from home, covering the whole of the UK & Ireland with overseas travel within the EMEA region. We are looking for a BDM to work within their work winning team, reporting into the senior executive team.

Role details:

Predominantly home based, working out of their Head office or a local regional office the role will involve:

• Strategic targeting of new sales. This will take the form of introductory
and follow up telephone calls, emails to targeted potential new clients,
and the development of relationships within these targets.
• Account management and development of existing Clients
• The completion of tender returns for ‘live’ opportunities.
• Working with the Bid and work winning teams on major projects.

The successful candidate will also assist the Executive team in identifying and targeting specific clients/sectors in their prospecting activity.

Essential Skills:

• Clear, concise and confident communication skills; both verbal and
written.
• Positive, enthusiastic and confident manner.
• Resilience and determination to succeed.
• Sound level of organisational skills.
• Well organised and ability to multi-task.
• I.T. literate with experience of working with Microsoft software
(Outlook, Word, Excel and Power Point).
• Proactive approach to all tasks undertaken.
• Commitment to providing high quality work and willing to work flexibly
• Civils infrastructure exposure within Highways, Aviation or Major
Projects.
• Previous experience of developing relationships and account
management.
• Experience of consistently working to and meeting deadlines and
performance targets

This role would suit a Business Development Manager, BDM, Sales Manager, Sales Executive, Account manager or Work winning manager, willing to expand their experience further within the UK and EMEA.
