St Monica Trust has been providing care services for older people since 1925. We recognise the importance of delivering spiritual and pastoral care as an integral part of the services that we provide. The pastoral care team seek to enhance those aspects of holistic care that have a direct bearing on the spiritual well-being of residents and colleagues, regardless of their background and beliefs.

We are looking to recruit a Pastoral Care Coordinator to oversee the pastoral, spiritual, religious and community needs of residents, families and staff at our Bedminster and Westbury Fields sites.

Pastoral Team Framework

What we are looking for?
We are looking for someone who will have had some experience of inclusive pastoral care, leading worship and working creatively alongside older people with a variety of needs including those living with dementia.

The Pastoral Care Coordinator will work with flexibility to include some work on Sundays. There is an expectation to travel between our sites (based in Bristol and North Somerset) and therefore we require someone with a full and valid driving licence and their own transport.

What we offer?
We offer a competitive package including a contributory pension scheme, life assurance at 4 x salary, childcare vouchers, 23 days holiday per year plus bank holidays (pro-rata), free on-site parking, savings on shopping, opportunity to join our gym (and pool where relevant) and a subsidised restaurant. We also provide an extensive induction programme and training opportunities.

For informal discussion please contact Andrew Norris, Pastoral Care Leader on (Apply online only).

How to apply:
Please visit our website to submit an online application. Alternatively, please call the recruitment team on (Apply online only).

St Monica Trust is committed to an inclusive working environment. Appointment is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure.

Interviews are due to take place on Wednesdays 23rd August and will include a tour of both sites, a meeting with residents and the Pastoral Care team and a presentation and interview
