Executive Secretary / Personal Assistant - Central Government
Type: Long-term temporary Salary: £8.15 to £16.14

Brook Street has been chosen as a recruitment partner to hire temporary admin and clerical workers for central government departments and the public sector across the UK. We're currently looking for an experienced, professional Executive Secretary / Personal Assistant for a governmental department in central London
This is an ongoing, long-term temporary assignment, working full time and many of these opportunities offer a significant pay increase on completion of 12 weeks in the same department.
Providing high-level, diverse secretarial and administrative support to one or two key senior managers, your duties will include:

* Composing non-routine correspondence
* Compiling reports
* Transcribing dictation
* Typing documents, using word processor or spreadsheet software
* Receiving visitors
* Screening and directing manager's telephone calls
* Diary management
* Arranging meetings or travel
* Maintaining records or files

Typical qualifications and experience required:
Minimum typing speed of 60 wpm
Experience as an executive secretary / personal assistant
An advanced level of computer literacy and wide knowledge of relevant software packages
Excellent communication skills both oral and written
