A New premier bistro, bar and grill, opened in the Ribble Valley are looking for a Head Chef to lead and manage the team.
As Head Chef you`ll be responsible for managing all activities in the kitchen and ensuring the highest standards of food and presentation. This is a busy kitchen environment that commands a strong leader with impeccable communication skills to ensure the team consistently deliver great food and service. It is essential that you can work in a highly pressured but rewarding environment. You`ll also be required to prepare staff rotas ensuring you have the right staff on site depending on business needs.
As Head Chef you will lead, inspire and motivate the team, ensuring they are engaged and passionate about what they do. Food hygiene practices must be monitored and maintained to provide a safe and clean working environment. It is also essential that you can control costs and create competitive product pricing to deliver profitability, efficiency and guest satisfaction, without compromising on quality or availability.
Ideally you will currently be a Head Chef in a quality Bistro / Grill kitchen and have experience with cooking fresh seafood.
Full Time positions 5 days per week between Monday to Sunday including evenings and weekends.
