Technical Manager (Food/Fresh Produce) required for well established and successful family run business. They are about to open a brand new purpose built facility due to continued growth.

The role would appeal to a Technical Manager looking to join a growing organisation. You will play a key part in implementing technical and quality standards.

To be considered for the role, the successful applicant must have experience managing a team within the food industry. The successful Technical Manager will have a strong knowledge of BRC, HACCP and food industry legislation. The company have technical and quality standards in place, you must feel confident implementing these in the new facility along with any necessary changes in line with legislation.

The role itself will involve managing redevelopment plans and site expansion by heading research and budgets. You will work alongside the General Manager to get the site fully up to speed, the director for the sister site will also support this process.

As a Technical Manager you will overseeing a team of quality technicians. You will be responsible for ensuring that HACCP based quality systems and BRC standards are maintained across the whole site. You will also have client contact primarily dealing with major retailers. You will also be responsible for internal audits and ensure all produce meets the company’s quality standards.

This an excellent opportunity to join a rapidly expanding company who are looking to double headcount on their new site within 2-5 years.
