Our client is large and expanding Environmental and Occupational Hygiene consultancy offering professional services to commercial and industrial clients across the country.

Due current state of the business, they are now seeking for a smart, self-motivated Occupational Hygiene Consultant to work for them in Yorkshire and along the M62 corridor and will consider applications from Huddersfield, Doncaster, Wakefield, Greater Manchester and the surrounding areas.

Ideally, the applicant will be qualified, experienced Occupational Hygiene Consultancy and must have consultancy experience. Holding the qualification - NEBOSH Certificate would be beneficial.

Must come from a good educational background - holding a degree in Science would be beneficial.

Must be well versed with the relevant disciplines involved.

Must have good communication, organizational, presentation and people management skills.

Must be proficient in using the Microsoft Office Package.

Must have varied and valid experience in carrying out risk assessments.

Must be well versed with the Health & Safety procedures with regards to occupational monitoring and environments.

Key Role:

The work will involve undertaking a wide range of occupational hygiene related projects such as workplace assessments - air monitoring, COSHH assessments, noise, fumes, dust and hand-arm vibration surveys, local exhaust ventilation (LEV) examination and testing and indoor air quality.

Site Assessments.

Liaising with clients

Must have a proven track record working within this role and within the industries involved.

Managing the accounts appropriately.

Health & Safety checks and ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with the Health & Safety procedures and legislation.

Travelling extensively as per clients' requirement.

Overall, the post holder will be versatile, flexible, have and project management skills and have the ability to carry out the work effectively.
