Adecco are currently recruiting for a Service Sales Consultant for our client based in Bishops Stortford, Herts. This is a brilliant opportunity for a motivated and ambitious person looking to build a career within successful international business.

You will be primarily responsible for selling technical product and service, as well as developing exiting customer relationships and finding new customers. Our client is looking for a tenacious candidate who is looking for a progressive career within sales.

The position will be based in Bishops Stortford, Hertfordshire offering a salary of £20,000 per annum + commission. Benefits include 25 days holiday and onsite parking.

Key responsibilities:

* Market, process, sell and manage sales opportunities in their assigned geographical area.

* Prospect for sales through a structured method, researching and cold calling.

* Process all quotes and orders inline with company policy and client SLA's.

* Achieve sales and revenue growth according to agreed targets by telephone and e mail contact, with clients.

* Respond to quotation requests, leads, etc, follow up and negotiate to close business.

* Ensure maximum exposure of products and service across targeted accounts and maintain a robust sales pipeline.

* Measure and communicate progress against monthly targets by accurate and timely reporting and forecasting via sales journal.

* Liaise with Operations Manager in all aspects of sales enquiries.

* Ensure that solutions proposed are in full compliance with regulatory codes and practices along with ensuring that these comply with any clients/consultants specifications.

* Carry out any other reasonable duties/tasks as laid down by the Operations Manager.

* Be commercially aware at all times; know the value of contracts and costs.

The ideal candidate:

Adecco are looking for candidates who are dedicated and passionate about sales. You will be target driven, have exceptional time keeping and hold yourself to the highest professional conduct in the workplace.

* Proven experience within a telesales, accounts management or sales based role.

* Experience selling to the retail or engineering sector would be highly advantageous.

* The ability to be able to build upon existing and develop new working relationships.

* Customer focused with a professional approach.

* Resilience, self motivation and ability to work under pressure.

* Strong interpersonal communication and relationship building skills.

* Motivation to hit and exceed targets.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday 08:30-17:00 and Friday 08:30-16:00. Other benefits include 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
