There is a fantastic opportunity for a Qualified Social Worker to join an Adult's Service in Bracknell Forest Council.

Main duties:
To undertake person-centred planning in order to maximise the independence of the individual and promote social inclusion
To ensure that the social care needs of people are met, within the eligibility criteria of the department, by working in partnership with people who use the service, their Carers, professionals in other agencies and service providers
To establish arrangements and services which make clear and measurable improvements to the quality of life of people who use the service and their Carers
To work in partnership with service users, carers, relatives and other agencies in order to identify current and future service requirements and contribute to service development within the scope of the role
To provide advice to staff throughout the council's Adult Services on matters pertaining to the raising of alerts and concerns about abuse or neglect and adult protection
To manage the distribution of safeguarding strategy/case conference meeting minutes to all relevant parties in a timely manner

Essential skills and experience:
Evidence of continuing professional development, specifically relating to Adult Safeguarding and related legislation i.e. Mental Capacity Act 2005 and Care Act 2014
Ability to deal with general correspondence and record casework
Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the preparation and presentation of detailed reports and correspondence i.e. ability to initiate, draft and produce reports
Ability to communicate effectively with client groups and professionals in order to assess clients needs

Job requirements:
Job Requirements:
Must have a minimum of 2 years recent qualified experience working within Adult Safeguarding
All applicants must be Social Work qualified with a valid HCPC registration
An enhanced DBS that is of satisfactory level is essential
