Leading Financial Services client in Central London now requires a professional Second Line Support Engineer on a permanent basis to provide support to their London office and assisting with hardware and software problems via phone, email and in person.

The Second Line Support Engineer must have excellent stakeholder management skills as they will be acting as the conduit between the business units and the IT department.

Essential Skills & Experience:

* Two + years 1st / 2nd Line support experience
* Experience in Installing and Supporting Microsoft core technologies - Windows Server, Exchange, Active Directory and MS Office
* Knowledge of remote working technology - VMware products very beneficial
* Knowledge of network and video conference technologies
* Full understanding of PC hardware set-up and configuration
* Excellent telephone manner
* 'Hands on' approach and a willingness to learn
* Flexible, pro-active approach as a proven self-starter
* Team player who can work under guidelines to complete tasks in a timely manner
* Ability to work on individual projects against set targets
