Monday - Friday 08:30 17:00
Saturday 08:30 – 13:00 (rota alternative)
Basic £20,000 Bonus

The ideal candidate will be a team player, have the ability and confidence to work to agreed deadlines and work under own initiative whilst completing duties to high standards, competently working within dealer standards whilst adhering to manufacturer procedures and processes.

The role of Vehicle Technician consists of:

- Carrying out of servicing and general repairs to customer vehicles
- Accurately detect and report on any additional faults found, ensuring all work is completed to
satisfactory manufacturer and company standards within agreed time frames

The successful Service/Vehicle Technician will possess the following:

- Be qualified to a minimum of NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in motor vehicle repair (Level 2 will be considered)
- Be a nominated MOT Tester (advantageous but not essential)
- Have experience gained within a main franchised environment or established independent garage
- Possess a stable career history
- Possess good general technical and diagnostic skills
- Work towards team achievements, completing health checks advising on additional work found
- Be self-motivated, always striving to reach and surpass targets set
- Have a common sense approach and be able to work within a regulatory/process orientated
environment
- Able to communicate effectively on all levels
- Have good computer skills and willing to undertake training as deemed necessary
- Be PC literate along with a good understanding of service and repair schedules and job card completion
- Live in or within a reasonable commute of the Stourbridge area.
- Have a full UK driving licence (essential)

The successful candidate will be a keen and enthusiastic worker who wants to earn good bonuses through efficiency. The candidate will have strong communication skills and undertake all tasks in the given time.

Your role will include, all tasks requested by the workshop controller and Service Manager, accurately and skilfully undertaking the repairs, MOT and servicing of vehicles, ensuring all work is completed safely and complies with retailer, manufacturer and industry guidelines and fulfilling all tasks to the customer’s complete satisfaction, amongst other things.
