MPI have a requirement for an Auto Electrician to work in Walsall.

Temp - Perm job.
Initially 13 weeks temp to perm basis after which time, client would expect workers to become permanent

The rates vary depending on experience between £10.00 - £13.00 p/h PAYE; or £12.34 - £16.21 p/h LTD. Overtime is being paid over 40 hours: Monday - Friday at 1.3 times, Saturday at 1.5 time and Sunday at double time

Job Description
As an auto electrician you would be able to fit and repair electrical and electronic systems in motor vehicles. As our vehicles are more advanced the amount of electronics in them is more enhanced than the average car. Ideally you will need good practical skills. You will also need to be able to read electrical wiring plans.
Responsibilities
Vehicle Preparation and fitting of the electronics equipment
Checking and testing of the wiring and vehicle parts
Fault finding and rectification work
Retesting the system to make sure everything is working correctly and safely
Essential Requirements
Previous experience of Installation, repair and maintenance of electrical systems in vehicles
Checking and testing of the wiring and vehicle parts
Fault finding and rectification work
Knowledge and experience of electronic systems such as:
Electronic ignitions, alarms immobilisers and tracking devices.
Electric windows, mirrors, seats tow bar electrics and air-conditioning.
Customised LED or neon lighting kits, parking warning systems and reverse cameras
Ability to build looms would advantageous
Ability to strip and reassemble vehicles would be desirable
Demonstrable experience would be considered.
Knowledge of split charge systems
Knowledge of radio installation would be desirable

Pay rate: Based on skills and experience
40 hours basic worked between
Monday to Thursday 8am - 5pm
Friday 8am - 2pm
Overtime available
