Job title: Sheet Metal Worker
Job location: Derby
Shifts: Days only, early finish on Friday.
Hours per week: 40
Duration: Permanent
Start date: Immediate
Industries considered: Medical, FMCG, nuclear, machine building.
Salary: £27,000 per annum.

Must have sheet metal work or Welding / fabrication apprenticeship

Client Overview:

Leading manufacturer and front line supplier of bespoke machinery. The work is always changing and very interesting, anyone who has a keen interest in how machines are built from design to manufacture and build will love this role.

Job overview:

The primary purpose of this role is the building of machines. It is not production line work. It will involve the cutting and forming of sheet metal as well as Tig welding to give a high class finish.

Person Profile/Experience:

* Must be experience in TIG.
* Must have sheet metal apprenticeship or fabrication apprenticeship with sheet metal experience.
* Experience of working on bespoke (one off products ideal)
* Must have experience of working with Aluminium and Steel to tight tolerances.
* Good understanding of engineering schematics.


* Sheet metal apprenticeship / City guilds.
