Randstad Care are recruiting on behalf of a residential family centre providing expert, evidence based parenting assessments.

The role is to provide safety, support, care, guidance to families who are placed for assessment. A large part of the role involves detailed monitoring and recording.

We are currently offering part time and Flexible Zero Hours contracts working on an ad-hoc basis which includes weekend work, nights and sleep-ins

Person Specification Essential:

Resilient and motivated person

Good communication skills, both verbal and written

Calm, approachable manner, adaptable and non-judgemental

Able to work under own initiative and as part of a team

* NVQ or Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce or equivalent is essential

Desirable * GCSE in Maths and English at C Grade or above * Previous experience in working in a residential care setting or with children and families * Any relevant or transferable skills, such as First Aid trained * Knowledge of Child Protection and Safeguarding
