Quality Assurance Officer - Annan

TM Resourcing's Technical Division are proud to be partnering a global leader with an annual turnover of over £3B.

They are looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Officer for their site based in Annan.

Areas of Responsibility:

*

To deliver QA support for product investigations and customer complaints including root cause.
*

To support the identification of appropriate resulting CAPAs.
*

Ensure the application of risk assessment processes and tools during decision making.
*

Execute QA activities associated with site activities and approve as cGMP compliant.
*

Support the site change control process.
*

Provide support for all GMP training.
*

Participate in plant reviews and tours to ensure physical plant standards are as required and cGMP compliant.
*

Assist with the development of the site quality system, meeting ICHQ7 and other global requirements.
*

Supporting internal, supplier, external, regulator and customer audits as directed by the QA Manager.

Ideal Candidate:

*

Experience within the Pharmaceutical Industry essential.
*

Degree qualified in a science or related subject.
*

Knowledge and experience of FDA and MHRA requirements.
*

Sound knowledge of cGMP regulations.
*

Experience with internal and external auditing would be desirable.
*

Excellent computing skills and proficient in Microsoft Office such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
*

Able to prioritise workloads and make key decisions.

Pension (JMEPS Elements), defined benefit arrangement. Each month of pensionable service you receive 22.5% of your salary in your credit account, subject to contributions of 3%. * Subject to an earnings limit of £43,392 (which is reviewed April annually). In the event of exceeding this cap you will receive 15% of your salary to your investment account.

Share Match - eligible after one year's service; contributions of 1, 2 or 2.5% required by employee to buy Partnership Shares. Matching shares are bought by the Company to match the shares bought by employees (currently two Matching Shares for every one Partnership Share).

Non-guaranteed bonus related to Operating Profit and personal objectives payable annually

Annual Salary: £30-35K
*

Annual leave - 25 Days plus 8 days Public Holidays with Christmas and New Year fixed days and all other public holidays floating. Shift Workers rotation is continuous throughout the year and includes working on public holidays
