Solutions Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Project Manager constructing and fitting out shops, display rooms and other retail spaces for major blue chip retailers and creating attractive environments that make a tangible difference to profitability

Responsible for:

The coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of specific projects, ensuring consistency with strategy, commitments and goals, coordinating the Project Support Managers, Company Site Supervisory Foremen and sub-contract labour.

Responsibilities

* Assist the Senior Project Manager to lead the planning and implementation of projects, ensuring all quality, cost and delivery targets are achieved.
*Assist the Senior Project Manager to facilitate the definition of project scopes, goals and deliverables, including surveys, call-offs,purchase requisitions, quotations etc and attending all site meetings.
*Define project tasks and resource requirements, including RAMS, specific health and safety requirements, toolbox talks, briefs etc.
*Plan and schedule project timelines.
*Assemble and coordinate project resources, plant and transport.
*Liaise with clients and subcontractors on a daily basis, providing solutions to problems, including designing new products, new specifications or extras.
*Manage project resource allocation, subcontractor invoices and stock controls.
*Track project deliverables using appropriate tools.
*Provide direction and support to project teams, ensuring all health and safety standards are maintained at all times.
*Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders and present reports defining project progress.
*Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs, including snags, shortages and extras.
*Undertake project evaluations and assessment of results, ensuring the delivery and completion of client projects is met to a sufficient quality, cost and time-frame and are signed off by the client.

*Ability to work additional hours to meet the needs of post as and when required.

Qualifications and Training

*Proven work experience as an account / project manager within a retail environment, with acumen and skills in the ability to control and deliver concurrent multiple projects.
*SMSTS and CSCS card holder / certificates.
*First aid at work and asbestos awareness (Ukata Cat C) would be an advantage.
