Our commercial division are looking to expand their team by recruiting an experienced Business Development Manager to cover the Milton Keynes. Ideally from a training sector background, the ideal candidate will have proven experience of client and learner engagement within the SME and corporate business sectors.

Main Responsibilities
Identify, develop and on-board new business (client acquisition)
Secure and account manage existing customer accounts, building the platform for long term client relationships via demand and establishing the Babington brand
Clear ownership of a monthly sales target, including commercial review and contributions.
Develop and maintain own individual sales plan
Maintain and update Sales CRM system.
Generate a new business pipeline from warm and cold leads, assisting in the development of an on-going client acquisition strategy through tools such as databases and networking.
Accurately completing own enrolments, including start paperwork, initial assessments and health & safety. .
Liaise with key colleagues (Operations, Marketing, Recruitment Team) to maximise effective client launches and ensure opportunities to up-sell and cross-sell.
Evaluate the market landscape (including competitor’s strengths and weaknesses) and then scope out opportunities within operating region
Develop propositions and presentations for clients
Contribute to overall Babington Group business activity including exhibitions and third party events
