I have an opportunity for Registered Nurses to work for a Nurse-led care provider, this is an opportunity to work with younger adults with acute physical, mental and learning disabilities in a large home base in Birmingham.
You will be required to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, whilst being confident to make decisions on your own. You will need to ensure you are up to date with current evidence-based practice and have a working knowledge of CQC standards.

You will need to be RMN/RGN/RNLD qualified with a valid pin to be considered for this role.

Duties:
• Carry out the assessment of the care needs of the service user, the development, implementation and evaluation of programmes of care, and management of staff
• Provide care for the service user on a daily basis, undertaking direct nursing and general care, as required
• Contribute positively to the setting and development of measurable standards of care relevant to the specialty; and participate in the introduction and maintenance of such strategies
• Be responsible for the assessment of care needs, the development, implementation and evaluation of care programmes, including recreational activity
• Ensure effective and safe deployment of person power and resources in accordance with the service user needs, company policy and the Health & Social Care Act 2008, Care Quality Commission (Registration) Regulations 2009 and Health & Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2010 8.
• Maintain an effective registration with the NMC and inform the Registered Manager of any changes of registration status immediately

Experience:
• Evidence based practice
• First level registration
• Professional training in a related environment

• First level registration with a valid NMC pin
• Experience of working in a similar role previously

Salary
£29,530 - £32,352 up to 42 hours per week, days and nights available
