Triage / Mash Team Manager - London - Permanent

Salary up to £52,000 per annum plus benefits and pension scheme

A well regarded South East London Borough is recruiting for a permanent Team Manager for their MASH / Triage team. The team covers both short and long term work - initial assessments through to children protection investigations and complex cases up to initial care proceedings.

You will be responsible for the overall line management and supervision of a team inclusive of assistant team managers, senior social workers, social workers and social work assistants. You will be working to ensure best practice in the team by monitoring and reviewing procedures, ensuring that safeguarding children is at the highest of priorities.

You will also chair meetings and be pivotal in building / maintaining relationships with other agencies in the local area. You will also be involved in strategic planning, budget handling and recruitment. This is a key hire for the borough and as such will only be suited to those with consistent track record at Team Management Level, or at the very minimum you will be an ATM/DTM for a large service.

This post will most certainly prove an exciting and rewarding challenge for those looking for a new permanent opportunity.

To apply as a Team Manager you will need the following - HCPC Registered Social Work qualification (Degree, DIPSW, CQSW, CSS) - Experience at Management Level working in Frontline Children's Services (Referral & Assessment or Children in Need / Family Support)

In Return - Salary package up to £52k per annum - Excellent Benefits - Regular Supervision and Support
