My client is one of the leading names in the specialist sub-contract interiors market, helping clients and architects develop a full interior fit out solution. They operate UK wide but mainly work on projects in London / South East. Delivering high specification & standard schemes on time, on budget and on schedule.

They have an excellent reputation for delivering quality finishes and have longstanding relationships with key clients, developed through mastering the process from its early stages right through to project management and completion.

Responsibilities (But Not Limited To) of a Project Manager:

* Manage & run projects allocated by the Directors, with the support of an experienced project support team
* Be responsible, cost & time efficient throughout and within the commercial parameters provided by the calculations and CVR's
* Initiate and attend the project kick-off meeting and agree procurement procedures
* Update regularly and drive the construction programme
* Plan, arrange and agree the full construction programme with the client
* Obtain design approval with the client together with the internal service department (technical teams)
* Initiate and approve construction drawings with clear instructions
* Decide on strategic product changes and/or cost saving alternatives based on the results of the first revision of the post calculation (CVR)
* Agree installation procedures and rates with sub-contractors, Site Manager & QS in line with the post calculation (CVR)
* Induction of the Site Manager and handover of the site file
* Attendance of internal and external progress meetings and distribution of the meeting minutes/information

About The Candidate

* Minimum of 5 years project management experience within the sub-contract market. Ideally for a Glazing or ceilings specialist contractor
* Strong ability to organise and to think in terms of planning - high level of constant concentration required
* Driven by client satisfaction by really pushing delivery time & quality
* Extensive Building and Construction knowledge
* Proven leader and able to lead by example
* High ability to work under pressure with good flexibility
* Must be self-confident (this comes with experience) and can communicate this effectively
* Must hold all relevant certifications (i.e. CSCS, SMSTS, First Aid etc.)
