Job Title:                           Business & Strategic Planning Analyst
Location:                           Staines
Salary:                               £36,000 – £42,000 + bonus and benefits         

Our client, a leading energy provider is looking for a Business & Strategic Planning Analyst to join their team at their offices based in Staines.

In this role the Business & Strategic Planning Analyst will:

- Use their extensive knowledge of data analytics, MI, stakeholder management and relationship building to provide valuable insight into the inner workings of the field operation.
- Manage stakeholders effectively in order to build lasting and effective relationships with both the field and office teams to ensure all stakeholders understand how the operation is functioning and how the company continues to review and improve service to their customers.
- Understand, simplify and communicate complex information through oral and written communication, often providing solutions to inform and influence high priority business decisions across UK Field Operations.

The Business & Strategic Planning Analyst will have:

- At least 18 months’ commercial analytics experience in a similar role.
- Strong data analytical skills to interpret data and produce insight in order to understand opportunities, challenges and potential risks.
- Familiarity with modelling, analysis, simulation and optimisation tools
- Technical skills in SAS/ R/ SQL plus advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Expert knowledge in data analytics, statistical forecasting and long range modelling
- A track record of building data models; presenting challenging ideas to business leaders; creating robust forecasting and budgeting as well as underpinning all decisions with sound planning.
- Experience of commercial business case development, benefits realisation planning and tracking of business benefits against business strategy.
