Social Media Assistant

Permanant/Shift Work

Woking - Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting for a Social Media Assistant to take responsibility for the monitoring and management of our clients social media presence.

Key Areas:

1. Monitoring of Social Media

- Monitor the sites, responding as appropriate and raising concers to the Social Media Manager

2. Proactive use of Social Media

- Proactively encourage social media movement

3. Social Media Calendar

- Collating and creating material for the Social Media Calendar on a weekly basis

4. Case Studies

- Liasing with the PR Department to produce blogs, quotes, images etc for social media

5. Reporting and Administration

- Keeping clear and concise records, reporting on results to the relevant department

6. Events

- Assisting the Social Media Manager in monitoring Social Media pages throughout the duration of events

7. Other Ad Hoc Tasks

- Other administrative tasks

Essential Experience:

- Previous experience in a similar role or office environment

- An in depth understanding of Social Media platforms and their uses

- Educated to degree level or relevant equivalent

- Flexability to work outside of normal office hours

Desirable Experience:

- An Understanding or interest in general health and sport

- Previous experience in dealing directly with the public

- Experience of dealing with serious health issues

- Experience of working in the Charitable Sector

All staff are required to work weekends at events. Days in lieu will be given.
