Electrical Project Manager wanted to manage projects through out London and the South. Pay up to £60k+package
Your new company
You will be working for a M&E Contractor established over 50 years ago with a turnover of £100 Million plus. They are one of the UK's leading providers of building services, with a highly credible track record on the design and safe delivery of complex, multi-million pound projects. Our business meets the highly specific requirements of our built or new-build customers; many of which are blue-chip national and international organisations. Your new role
You will be a 'roving Electrical Project Manager working on several projects at one time. You will travel between the projects regularly as well as the office. The department of the company you will start on is retail and banking. Most of the projects will be Cat B fit out, with a little bit of Cat A and new build projects. This will involve travelling throughout London and the South. You will need to be a bit flexible with work hours as the company will also be in turn. If you work late your not expected in first thing the next day. Most of the work will be during business hours but with the nature of the job this will not always be the case. You will conduct surveys and meetings directly with the clients. You will Manage the projects from conception to completion. This will involve organising pre-site meetings H&S, RAMS, managing orders for contractors, through to final account and handover. Average Projects range from £50k-£500K.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience managing the full life cycle of projects. Preferably more than one at a time. You will be client facing with good clear communication skills. You will have reasonably good computer skills. Having experience carrying out surveys will be very ideal. You will have good time management and the ability to work independently. A valid drivers Licence. Fit out experience. Ability to work with designers, check estimates, control sub-contractors, manage projects, good with paperwork, confident with good people skills and able to cope under pressure.
