An opportunity has arisen for a Systems Project Manager to join an international law firm for a period of 12-18 months. The Systems Project Manager will be responsible for the implementation and rollout of three new systems throughout the firm. Key responsibilities for the Systems Project Manager will include:

  • Defining project tasks and deliverables; allocating resources and mapping out timelines
  • Building relationships with key stakeholders
  • Leading on project meetings
  • Working with vendors and external consultancies to manage resources and activity
  • Identify key risks and working with the project team to mitigate
  • Manage the transition to business as usual

The ideal candidate for the Systems Project Manager role will have experience of project management in a legal environment, ideally managing the implementation of a new Practice Management system and/or Document Management system. A PRINCE2 qualification is highly desirable. You must be able work calmly under pressure and to tight deadlines. First class communication and organisational skills are a must, and you must be able to commit to the full duration of the contract.
