We are recruiting on behalf of a innovative market leading company with a global presence based in York, North Yorkshire.

An opportunity has arisen for a Marketing Co - Ordinator to work as part of their friendly, professional Marketing team. This is truly an interesting and exciting role which will involve:-

- Attending trade exhibitions
- Managing promotional campaigns
- Producting creative and cutting-edge marketing materials
- Offering the chance to work with their global divisions too!!

Job Purpose and objectives

The Marketing Co-ordinator will support the Head of Marketing and work with the Digital Marketing Assistant in a wide variety of tasks to maximise the effectiveness and performance of all marketing activities within our company.

Marketing Co-ordinators role

- Plan and deliver events, promotions and service initiatives, to achieve marketing objectives in line with the overall strategy.
- Manage all email marketing campaigns (bounced, open, click, unsubscribe rates etc).
- Produce first drafts of emails, power point presentations and press releases from given or agreed information.
- Take responsibility for reviewing and sourcing new advertising opportunities through publications and business directories.
- Distribute all letters, e-mails and gifts to customers in relation to the Marketing and Sales plans.
- Liaise with all divisions to ensure marketing campaigns are communicated effectively within the Group.
- Brief and liaise with external agencies, to produce creative and compelling advertising, PR and promotional campaigns.
- Continually evaluate all marketing campaigns and activities to ensure they remain within budget and can demonstrate a return on investment.
- Take ownership for new and different requests by exploring opportunities to add value to departmental job accomplishments.
- Establish and maintain a centralised archive of presentations, spreadsheets, marketing materials and communications that is accessible to internal departments.
- Update, assist, collate, analyse and make recommendations to market and customer questionnaires and distribute any required information to specified employee.

Requirements

- The candidate is desired but not essential to have at least 1 years experience in a marketing environment and have or working towards a CIM Certificate in Marketing or equivalent in Marketing / Administration.
- The candidate will have at least 1 years experience in administration.

The candidate will have proven experience, or demonstrated an ability in:

* Excellent Microsoft Word and Excel skills
* Knowledge of using Microsoft Office and Adobe packages
* Ability to analyse information and action it
* Planning, monitoring and prioritising his/her own workload
* Liaising with external suppliers
* Self motivated with the ability to meet tight deadlines
* High standard of accuracy quality and timeliness
* Keen to work as part of a team
* Communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
