Penguin Recruitment are delighted to represent an award winning and highly established consultancy, currently offering an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director to join their offices in Leeds.

My client comes with an excellent reputation for high quality planning advice which they provide to a wide portfolio of public and private sector clients. They have a track record of delivering numerous major development schemes across the UK with an emphasis on Residential, Retail, Education and Mixed-Use projects. Working across a wide range of such sectors, you will have the capacity to develop your career both in the short and long term. The successful director will work in conjunction with Senior Directors, attending client meeting and delivering presentations, thus playing a key part in business development.

The successful Director will provide exceptional advice on a range of planning topics to a variety of clients, therefore strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential. You will have a fantastic working knowledge of all local planning legislations and a strong background in the delivery of projects in the North of England. The successful Director will have a track record in profile raising and work winning in the private sector. Enthusiasm, self-motivation and an appetite to develop others are pre-requisites.

To apply, the successful Director will already be a full RTPI member with other accreditations being beneficial. Ideally, you will have over 8 years' previous planning experience within consultancy, covering all aspects of the planning process along with experience in mentoring, supporting and developing junior members of the planning team.
