Purchase Ledger Supervisor - Bournemouth

My client are a leading company based in Bournemouth, they have been growing year on year and are looking to bring an experienced Purchase Ledger Supervisor into their Finance team.

About the role

The principle responsibilities of the role are:

  • Developing the Purchase Ledger team, hold regular one-to-ones and come up with relevant objectives at annual development reviews which are aligned with those of the wider M&S Group.
  • Presenting meaningful report summaries and KPIs at monthly Purchase Ledger meetings to highlight performance and any key issues to Senior Management, and circulate minutes and actions from the meeting on a timely basis.
  • Lead end-to-end process improvement initiatives across all areas of Purchase Ledger including P2P, Utilities, Purchase Cards and Expenses.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for both internal and external audit, ensuring compliance across all areas of Purchase Ledger, and implementing any audit points within the required time-scale.
  • Be main point of contact in Finance with Utility wise, our Utilities broker, and help drive performance with this service provider.
  • Overseeing preparation of weekly payment runs.
  • Ensuring that the Invoice Register and Purchase Ledger in boxes are cleared down on a weekly basis.
  • Enforcing resolution of supplier queries on a timely basis.
  • Supporting the wider Management Services team as directed by the Finance Manager.

Hours of work

09:00 - 17:30 Monday to Thursday and 09:00 - 17:00 on Friday.

Salary -

£24,000 - £26,000 DOE
