An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Joiner/Pattern Maker to start immediately based in Harworth, Doncaster to work for a prestigious manufacturing company who specialises in the production of Glass Reinforced Concrete. You will join the mould making team and play a big role in ensuring the in-house mould making team have the capacity to feed the production team with the moulds they require to complete the required projects. Person Specification:

* Joinery experience is essential for this role
* Experience of making moulds for concrete products is preferable
* Experience of using Workshop machines Cross-Cut/Panel Saw/Band Saw
* Preparation and planning work to meet strict deadlines
* Ability to read and interpret mould drawings

Job Description:

* Reading drawings and developing a mental plan of work to complete that mould
* Working from a supplied plan and be able to explain when the plan is under/over achieved
* Using workshop machines (Cross-cut/panel saw/band saw) to prepare mould parts
* Manufacturing complete timber moulds to meet the production requirements and timescales of the spray team
* Manufacture timber components to be added to externally supplied moulds or moulds from the internal team
* Preparation of polystyrene void fillers
* Sanding and varnishing completed moulds ready for casting
* Undertaking QA tasks to confirm that completed moulds and components are within the allowable tolerances

Duration: This is a permanent role for the right candidate

Remuneration: You will be paid up to £13.41 per hour depending on experience

You will be working for a leading company that manufactures fibre glass concrete structures.

Hours of work: 39 hours per week with the possibility of overtime, this will be working days 7am - 3pm
