What will the role involve?

As a Trainer Assessor, you will utilise your experience to help inspire learners to realise their potential as you support, offer advice, and guide them through their apprenticeship training and assessment. You will have a direct impact on the quality of service that learners provide. Working across a network of Clinical/Medical practices in the region, you will work with learners that are passionate about providing exceptional customer services, using what they have learned during their apprenticeship training to deliver excellent client care on all occasions. You will deliver a professional, high quality service to our learners underpinned by quality procedures and Awarding Body requirements.

Have you got what it takes?

To be successful as a Trainer Assessor at learndirect you must be approachable, self-motivated and possess high levels of empathy. You must be an excellent negotiator and able to use your initiative to solve problems, often involving different stakeholders.

You will need to come from a Healthcare Support Workers/Healthcare Assistant background and have worked in Nursing Homes, Doctors surgeries or on Hospital wards. It is essential that you have nursing qualifications, Clinical Level 2 or 3 or HSC Level 2 or Level 3 to be considered for this post.

You should have experience of providing advice and information ideally in clinical environment. You will need to have excellent communication skills, both when dealing with our on-site apprentices and the relevant stakeholders they report in to. You must be professional and have the ability to motivate and encourage people at all levels. You will need to demonstrate a passion for what you do along with lots of energy, enthusiasm, and the willingness to travel as required. A driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential.
