Position: Quality Engineer (CNC Machining / Product Quality Assurance)
Location: Hull
Salary: Up to £40k

This is a great opportunity for a Quality Engineer in Hull commutable from Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Hull, Doncaster, Leeds, York, Lincoln.
Paying approx £35,000 - £40,000 depending on experience; working for a world market leader in the manufacture of advanced machined parts in the aerospace sector
We are looking for 2 Quality Engineers - 1 with CNC machining knowledge and 1 for product quality assurance with an engineering background

The Role:

Take site responsibility for maintaining the quality management system
Supporting the Quality Manager (remote) in all matters pertaining to quality
Liaison with customers and suppliers on quality issues and requirements
Supporting the Operations team to ensure that products and processes comply with the relevant requirements of the quality management system
Final release of product to Customer
Creating and maintaining company quality documentation, such as manuals and procedures
Preparation for and participation within internal, external and supplier audits *
Root cause analysis and implementation/co-ordination of corrective action for process related concerns
Identifying and implementing continuous improvement activities to enhance systems

About you:

The successful candidate will MUST have proven experience of quality engineering within a machining / engineering environment
Good understanding of quality of product
Audit experience of quality standards
Quality control of manufacturing processes through understanding of capability.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively at all levels

Formal Qualifications:

Good standard of general education
Minimum of HNC in an appropriate engineering discipline, degree preferred
