Our clients provide engineering support to their customers throughout Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire, with their main office centred in Northampton. The role is to manage the centre on behalf of the directors, offering a hands-on approach to both the trade counter and the team of mobile service engineers.

The role will be predominately office based, with responsibility for day to day operations, including being the main contact for customers, ensuring technicians provide the highest level of onsite customer service.

Responsibilities include ensuring all Health, Safety, Quality, and Environmental systems are maintained to the agree ISO standard, and that all work is completed to an agreed high standard.

The position maintains responsibility for recruitment and training of staff and ensuring any customer facing personnel have sufficient technical acumen and the correct equipment to do the job.

Overall, this role requires an individual whom comes from a technical background (engineering would be ideal) whom is “hands-on” but with some management experience. Our client is especially keen on providing on-going training, and the successful candidate will get the chance to be fully trained in practices of a worldwide group of companies.
