Finance & Office Manager
£30,000 - £40,000 per annum

Purpose of role:

To accurately manage the day-to-day financial aspects of the company, manage the office facilities, and ensure day-to-day personnel records are administered in compliance with legislation.


• Accounts Receivable
• Accounts Payable
• Banking & Cash Management
• Payroll (Training can be provided)
- Accurately process monthly payroll on a timely basis in Payroll Manager
- Make payroll payments on agreed payroll date
- Submit HMRC RTI returns in time and pay PAYE amounts on time
- Upload Pension details to Peoples Pension and set-up DD payment
- Post all entries to Quickbooks
- File annual P11D returns and pay Class 1A NIC on time.
• General Ledger
- VAT Returns are reviewed for accuracy, submitted, and paid on time.
- CIS Returns are reviewed for accuracy, submitted, and paid on time.
• Financial Reporting
• Timesheets
• Insurance policies are maintained (and costs negotiated)
• Purchasing
- Purchase orders are raised accurately and on a timely basis

Office Management

• Day-to-day management of the office premises.
• Management of Office & Stationery supplies
• Contract Management: Building leases, service agreements, equipment leases etc
• Vehicle fleet Management
• Liaise with external HR advisor to ensure compliance with current employment law
• Issue employment contracts and offer letters to new employees
• Maintain employee files, including Joiners / Leavers
• Maintain Holiday and Sickness Records
• Pension Administration
• Support managers with recruitment
• Chase any overdue timesheets
• Lead a consistent approach to performance management issues
