We are ideally looking to recruit an experienced Radiology Manager to head up the imaging department of this exceptional Private Hospital.
This opportunity will enable you to work clinically on occasion as well as contribute to the commercial success of the imaging department and manage this activity.
The equipment within this department is state of the art; the department has been subject to heavy investment over the last year to so and you will have exceptional CT, MRI and general X Ray/Fluoroscopy and Ultrasound equipment at hand.
There is also a new PACS/RIS system in place.
This department is equipped to a higher standard than any other private hospital imaging centre outside of London and is offering leading edge diagnostic procedures to patients.
Some of the techniques and reporting not being currently available to competitor Hospitals thus providing you with a unique advantage.
You may currently be working as a Manager of Radiology for the NHS or possibly a senior radiographer/ manager with good commercial acumen and experience of managing more than one modality and a number of personnel.
You will be challenged within this role and be part of a very successful and innovative team; the Hospital is getting an international name as well as a national one for providing superb 5* treatment to its patients.
You will be responsible for the delivery of imaging, managing a highly qualified team of radiographers and you will be tasked with delivering income to the department and for generating the necessary margins. You will have an appetite for business success, be forward thinking and possess good commercial acumen.
Part of your role will be working alongside the Business Development Director in the promotion of services and securing new referrers.
As Director of Imaging you will be a member of the Senior Management Committee that meets weekly.

It is essential that you can liaise with all levels of clinicians and be numerate and have good financial skills; or the willingness to acquire them.

As well as driving the imaging business forward and contributing through this to the overall success of the Hospital you will manage a team and be in charge of this team’s continuous professional development and you will ensure that quality control is effective at all times.
