I am working on behalf of a very reputable care provider that requires a new Field Care Supervisor for their Newcastle based branch.

This expanding organisation is going from strength to strength but the personal touch is never lost. This is achieved through having a local office and a local management team close to you, meaning all of their services are provided with sensitivity and are individualised to the needs of the people within the local community.

The Branch/The role:
This particular branch is a well-established one and has been running since 2014. Central to Newcastle town centre, with easy access to shops and parking facilities, set within a fantastic office & training suite facility, they are a friendly, passionate and continually evolving home care branch, who`s main purpose is to deliver high quality care to their clients. You will be responsible for supervising / managing care workers within the field, offering support and training & working closely with the senior level staff amongst other duties.

This a is full time role offering 40 hours per week. 20 hours of which within the office and 20 hours within the field delivering high quality care. You will be required to work a mixture of early and late shifts, 7am till 2pm and 3pm till 8pm. On call shifts will be 1 in 4 and you will be paid £80 to simply have the phone in your pocket. Included within this there will be an element of weekend work.
This role is also offering excellent training potential should you wish to further your development within the industry, giving the applicant an excellent platform for progression within the company.

The Person:
You will be a strong & experienced field care supervisor and have a proven successful track record within domiciliary care. You will have excellent leadership qualities, ability to time manage effectively and a desire to work to high standards and push yourself to better both the company and yourself. You will have the ability to come in and hit the ground running working off your own initiative and equally be able to fit within a growing team.
