Purchase Ledger Clerk - immediate start
Huntress Harlow are recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Clerk for this well known employer in the local area. This is an initial 6 month Fixed Term Contract but offers significant opportunity on a longer term basis. This is a great chance for someone with to develop and enhance their career in a leading local business and work in a high profile, corporate environment.
Reporting into the head of Accounts Payable typical duties and responsibilities will include the following
- Batch, match and process supplier invoices
- Investigate and resolve disputes and queries
- Coding and entering expenses
- Reconciling supplier statements
- Assisting with other ad hoc accounting duties
The successful candidate will have experience in a high volume environment and have the ability to work well under pressure as part of a team. You must have good excel skills, able to deal with V-look ups and pivot tables, and have good communication skills which see you engage with other departments.
