A leading Midlands based building contractor with a national presence are recruiting for a Senior Quantity Surveyor.

Senior Quantity Surveyor

Based in the West Midlands, this Senior Quantity Surveyor opportunity involves delivering new build and construction projects of up to £15 million to both the public and private sectors nationwide.

The Senior QS will be typically office based but also required to visit sites where appropriate on a nationwide basis.

Successful candidates will be able to assume overall commercial responsibility for a range of projects, ensuring that financial viability and the entire commercial aspects of a project are managed effectively and profitably.

As a client facing position, the Senior QS should always represent the company positively, take pride in their work and work consistently to the high standards and processes the company demands.

Surveyors applying should have a solid track record of successful delivery in a competitive environment that primarily covers new build.

Candidates with new build experience and project values ranging over £5m are desirable.

Duties:

Working on 3 projects at any one time
Office based but travel as necessary to site
Good practice knowledge, hungry and fit into the company which is a growing organisation.

Projects include: new build and refurb/fitout; commercial, warehouse and retail

Package:
Salary around £60K-£65K (but flexible for the right candidate)
Car Allowance or Company Car
