Elevation Office Support are currently recruiting for a Sales and Service Representative for an Engineering business, whom are based in Chesterfield.

This role will evolve over a period of change which is planned for the business, to eventually become the lead of the daily processes within the Sales Office. My client is seeking an ambitious individual, whom will challenge and bring ideas to the current format of the office.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the internal sales processes through collaboration with key stake holders both externally and internally. You must be customer focused individual with an appreciation of engineering & manufacturing processes to ensure all KPI and metrics are met.

You will be an experienced Sales/Service Manager and you must demonstrate the following:

- Previous experience working as Sales/Service role, or similar, in relevant industries
- People person, understanding internal and external stakeholder needs
- Experience within a Global / European business environment
- Experience working with Pan-European and automotive customers
- Experience with various ERP and CRM systems
- A problem solving attitude through proactive approach
- Strong analytical and multi-tasking skills
- A sound working knowledge of change management
- Be competent in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- e a flexible work ethic and be able to work under pressure

Core Accountabilities & Duties:

- Take ownership of specified customers to support the UK Sales Manager and develop processes to grow the position of the business
- Handle the processing of all order types (contractual, out of contract, spot) with accuracy and timeliness
- Ensure daily hedging of lead products are calculated and supplied to hedging team
- Ensure logistics and sales planning is coordinated with operations team
- Track monthly KPI through sales tracking tools and develop performance indicators
- Monitor and report variations to budget and forecast by customer and product, including margins
- Liaise with UK Sales Manager to develop specific sales strategies
- Resolve customer complaints with support from quality team and internal stake holders
- Stay abreast of export legislation and ensure compliance of all documentation
- Suggest sales process improvements as appropriate
- Actively participate in weekly European commercial calls
- Prepare quotations and contracts to support UK Sales Manager
- Gather market information via customer contact
