Customer Services Manager

Role: Customer Services Manager - Logistics & Supply Chain
Hourly Rate: £12.50 - £15.35 per hour (depending on experience)
Type: Temporary Contract
Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
Required: Immediate Start

As part of our clients growth strategy we have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Customer Services Manager to take responsibility for leading and developing a team specialising in providing an excellent support service to groups business units. Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, responsible for daily management of the order processing, commercial back office processes and compliance team of 15 across the business units and 3 locations.

Key Duties
·Managing and actively supporting the order processing team with daily management of order entry, quote generation, intercompany purchase ordering, invoice generation, logistics, import and export and credit control
·Management reporting of sales and orders, visual management and KPI's
·Analysing current business processes and identifying areas of continuous improvement. Actively participate in or lead projects/initiatives to achieve continuous sales process improvement.
·Manage the commercial team to include recruitment, development, training, performance management and succession planning
·Successfully develop relationships and support external sales teams with the full range of back office processes, in-depth understanding of sales systems is desirable.
·Delivering exceptional supply chain customer service in domestic and export market place.

Key requirements
·Degree Qualified or with previous experience within a similar fast paced role.
·Confident with the ability to build knowledge and relationships quickly with excellent communication and presentation skills.
·Experience within FMCG, freight, logistics, supply chain, wholesale, retailer environment with a proven ability to deliver excellent Supply Chain KPI's.
·A comprehensive understanding of end to end supply chain and customer service.
·A true `hands-on` manager who enjoys leading, motivating and managing a team.
·Third part management experience.
·Confident managing resistance to change and comfortable working under pressure.
·Strong effective decision making, organisational and time management skills.
·Strong influencing skills and ability to communicate with internal stakeholders and clients.
·High levels of Customer Service orientation.
·Full UK driving licence.
