PMO // Software House // Swansea // £35,000 - £40,000 + Excellent Bens

My client, a great Software organisation are looking to appoint an ambitious PMO professional. Ultimately, this individual will play an integral and pivotal role in a highly established organisation, serving a high profile client base.

What my client is looking for:

A highly ambitious individual with a passion for technology and excellent communication skills. You will work closely alongside Programme Managers, Project Managers and Business Analysts to provide project, programme and portfolio support services to all of Implementations.

Responsibilities include:

* Assisting with the monitoring, reporting, forecasting and budgeting of all project expenses.
* Highlighting projects 'at risk' through appropriate reporting.
* Promoting a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring best practiced are integrated into the business.
* To ensure effective control of costs + financial reporting.
* Manage and build good working relationships within the Implementations and with all internal and external stakeholders at all levels, setting and exceeding expectations and maximising co-operation.
* Working alongside the Programme/Project Managers and Commercial Manager to ensure effective, consistent and accurate control of costs and financial reporting.
* Ensure accurate records are maintained at all times and facilitate the timely provision of data by way of status reporting, information packs & communication updates.
* Ensure consistent control of all projects within time, cost and quality objectives to include planning and tracking, resource management, status reporting in addition to risk, issue and change management; performing against defined KPIs and published SLAs.
* Assist Project Managers on processes and recommend mentors/partnerships with other project managers with relevant experience in the areas required.

Knowledge and experience:

* Previous PMO experience - at least 3 years.
* Ability to build effective working relationships with clients and employees.
* Strong IT skills, to include MS Project.
* Strong organisational skills and time management skills.
* Knowledge and understanding of the project lifecycle.
* Prince2 qualification
* Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment
* Experience working in a software house/with software projects
