Due to continual, growth I am looking to recruit an AV Manager to work for my client’s key account. My client works closely with a chain of hotels, with many of their venues having on-site technicians and equipment.

Your role as an AV Manager will be to provide technical support wherever required to clients within the hotel bringing together a full solution to deliver top class live events for clients.

Your roles will include:

Service and coordinate all AV requirements as requested by clients through theb hotel events team.
To contact clients in relation to future booking within the hotel and upsell services wherever possible.
To offer technical advise and support to the hotels sales and evens tea.
Ensuring that all kit is set up neatly and to a high standard.
To generate proposals for events and work directly with clients to ensure their event runs smoothly.
To keep an on-going stock check of equipment stored on site.
To act as a project manager, with the support of the Project Manager for larger events.
To supervise any freelance staff.
The successful candidate will need to have a proven interest in the live event industry, ideally with hands on knowledge of audio visual, sound, lighting, rigging, set and staging equipment.

A hand on technical experience is essential, along with the ability to self manager and self motivate whilst working in a team. This is a client facing role so you must be well presented - knowledge and experience of the hotel conference industry is preferred but not essential.

Working hours for this role are 8am - 5pm

In return you will be provided a basic salary of between £18-24k dependant on experience with overtime and bonus available. For insurance purposes, you must also have a driving license for at least 1 year prior to commencing this role.
