Due to continued expansion, this thriving business is looking to recruit an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team.

Are you an experienced Business Development Manager who has the ability, self motivation and enthusiasm to deliver?

This is an exciting role where you will be given the opportunity to develop your skills and progress your role in the company by focussing on a rapidly growing Microsoft market.
As a self starter with a 'can do' attitude you will be targeted to proactively identify and generate new business opportunities. You will be a highly charismatic individual who can promote the company's image in the marketplace, initiate and build direct contacts at all levels within organisations and help convert these opportunities in to sales.
A key part of the role is to make contact with prospects, recognise opportunities, be able to describe and evangelise the businesses services and discuss how these would be applied in business as well as the associated benefits.
The role will require the ability to contribute to, and in most cases take responsibility for, the entire sales life cycle from initiation to closing and in some cases, subsequent account management. The Business Development Manager will also contribute to a wide range of marketing activities, including delivering presentations and assisting with all relevant administration as required.

Key responsibilities:
* Optimising business growth through identifying new markets and business opportunities.
* Having a good understanding of a prospect's business functions and requirements.
* Maintaining and develop existing customer business through appropriate prospecting and business development methods.
* Taking responsibility for the entire sales cycle for allocated leads and assist with others as required.
* Ability to communicate complex solutions in an appropriate manner to both business and IT professionals (Microsoft Dynamics 365/CRM, SharePoint and Dynamics GP).
* Advocating the company and its services.
* Attending and presenting at client meetings to aid business development.
* Partnership management with key suppliers as required.
* Ability to contribute and write proposals and tenders.
* Attending relevant seminars and networking events to develop business relationships.
* Managing personal time and productivity.
* Assisting with all marketing efforts as required.
* Helping with relevant sales and marketing administrative duties, including the maintenance of the CRM system.

You should have:
* A proven track record in developing exceptional relationships within a business to business environment, with a specific emphasis on IT solutions
* Be able to demonstrate an understanding of relevant sales processes and how they have supported new business wins
* Consultative sales experience; gathering and understanding business needs and recommending and advocating the right technical solution to benefit the clients business
* Exceptional interpersonal skills to establish good working relationships with colleagues and clients
* Proven ability in engaging at a senior level with both customers and prospects
* Proven ability to produce engaging, accurate proposals
* A broad understanding and interest in IT solutions would be highly beneficial.
* High level business/IT contacts.
* This role requires national travel and we estimate this to be at least 25% of your working time

You will be someone with extensive professional, commercial experience in a business to business environment. You must possess a full UK driving licence and have suitable transport

37.5 hours Monday - Friday
