I am currently recruiting for an IT Support/Customer Service Executive to work for a market leading hardware manufacturer based in Bracknell.
You will provide first line support to customers via telephone and e-mail and be the key contact on any support issues.

Daily Duties:

• Reporting and responding to incoming calls via telephone, e-mail and social media.
• Providing support on both hardware and software
• Liaise with the engineering and support team as may be required
• Provide routine feedback on all open and closed customer calls to the Management Team
• Provide pre-sales support to the product marketing team including evaluating new models prior to launch, checking monitors prior to being used for magazine reviews and pre-staging monitors and workstations for exhibition use
• Perform diagnostic tests on monitors as required
• Assist with re-organisation of office space and office relocations

Skills & Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 years customer support role within the IT industry
• Experience of working with Windows and Apple O/S Systems
• An understanding of Windows Server 2008 & 2012 and SQL Server 2008 & 2012
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to speak to people with various skill levels
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks
• A self-starter with initiative who is resourceful and able to work independently
